SPECIALTY MEDICAL SERVICES

The Sports Medicine Office uses a variety of medical providers within and outside of the university network to provide medical services for student-athletes in all areas of specialty. The Chief Medical Officer and/or team physicians will evaluate each injury or illness on a case-by-case basis and make referrals as appropriate. The Chief Medical Officer and team physicians maintain relationships with medical specialists in a variety of fields within and outside of New Jersey. Student-athletes must work through the Chief Medical Officer or team physicians to obtain an appropriate referral to be sent to an orthopaedic surgeon, chiropractor, massage therapist, cardiologist, neuropsychologist, physical therapist, or a specialty surgeon.
