Women's T/F With Runner-Up Performances in 60m Hurdles & High Jump at Terrier Classic

BOSTON, Mass. - The Rutgers indoor track & field team saw runner-up performances by redshirt senior Drew Andrews in the 60m hurdles and freshman Courteney Campbell in the high jump to highlight the Scarlet Knights' results at the Terrier Classic hosted by Boston University.
Campbell set a new PR in the high jump at a height of 1.75m (5' 8.75") for second place. She bested her previous top height in taking home the Towson Tigers Invitational crown two weeks ago by .05m.
Andrews, meanwhile, claimed second place in the 60m hurdles in a time of 9.00.
Rutgers also saw two ECAC qualifying times in the 5000m. Freshman Olympia Martin raced to a finish line time of 16:56.52 and was followed by sophomore Nadia Saponara collecting a new PR in 17:21.44. Saponara reset her previous top time of 17:24.65 set at last year's Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton during the outdoor season.
Also capturing an ECAC qualifying time was senior Brianna Haspel in the 1000m with a time of 2:54.97.
The Scarlet Knights also saw fifth-year senior Bryanna Grant finish in fourth place in the triple jump at a distance of 11.96m (39' 3").
The Rutgers women's indoor track & field program is back in action on Friday, Feb. 2 at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.
