Swimming and Diving Sweeps Yale to Remain Undefeated

Senior Matt Campbell (Haddonfield, NJ) won the 50 free (20.19) for the third consecutive dual meet. In addition, he took the 100 free (45.10) and swam the anchor leg on the winning 200 medley relay (1:33.98) with juniors Josh Van Norman (San Diego, CA) and William Dennis (West Long Branch, NJ) and sophomore Eric Jennings (Edmond, OK). The other members of the relay also had individual success as Jennings won the 200 breast with a BIG EAST A qualifying time of (2:07.99), Van Norman captured the 100 back (51.73) and Dennis took the 100 breast (58.22) in a BIG EAST A qualifying time.
Other winners for the men included sophomore Jamie Miller (Hamburg, NY) in the 1000 free (9:32.67), junior Ivan Morse (Pleasanton, CA) in the 200 free (1:41.57) sophomore Tyler Clark (Granada Hills, CA) in the 200 fly (1:52.26), sophomore Jonathan Hupp (Mobile, AL) in the 400 IM (4:08.50) and freshman James Keenan (Concord, CA) in the 500 free (4:40.31). In diving, senior Jared Bench (West Babylon, NY) won the one (275.40) and three-meter (305.85) boards.
Sophomore Kelly Harrigan (Bristol, CT) once again won four events by taking the 200 fly (2:04.82), the 200 back (2:03.25) and the 100 fly (56.77), while swimming leadoff on the 200 medley relay (1:48.64) with sophomore Alexandra Dean (Buffalo, NY), freshman Sarah Bicknell (Pleasant Valley, IA) and senior Casmera Wick (Longmont, CO). Wick also won the 200 free (1:54.17).
Also winning events for the women were sophomore Katie Kuczmarkski (Wilmington, DE) in the 100 breast (1:07.06), junior Kelly Roche (Redding, CA) in the 50 free (24.39), senior Liz Carter (West Covina, CA) with a BIG EAST A qualifying time in the 400 IM (4:29.04) and junior Ruth Nichols (Raleigh, NC) in the 100 free (52.85).
The men and women will compete in the Princeton Invitational Friday, Dec. 5, through Sunday, Dec. 7, at DeNunzio Pool. RESULTS
