Women's Golf Finishes Eighth at Georgetown Invitational

RESTON, VA – The Rutgers women’s golf team carded a 688 (347-341) for the two-round Georgetown Invitational on Sunday in Reston, VA.
Radford won the tournament with a two-day score of 650 (320-330), while Bucknell’s Celine Herbin shot a 149 (76-73) to take individual honors.
Senior Mary Stewart (Scottsdale, AZ) paced Rutgers with a 164 (81-83) for two rounds to finish tied for 10th overall. Freshman Lauren Braswell (Basking Ridge, NJ) fired a 169 (87-82) to tie for 21st overall.
Freshman Ashley Fowler (Scottsdale, AZ) finished tied for 42nd with a 177 (91-86), while sophomore Kathleen Kennedy (Annandale, NJ) finished one stroke back with a 178 (88-90) to tie for 45th.
Senior Amanda Lennox (Narragansett, RI) carded a 187 (95-92) to tie for 58th overall.
Rutgers returns to action this Saturday and Sunday, March 27-28 at the William & Mary Invitational in Williamsburg, VA.
