RU Women's Golf Finishes 15th at Bonnie Hoover Invitational

HARRISONBURG, VA – The Rutgers women’s golf team captured 15th place after carding a 1,002 (328-327-347) combined score in the 54-hole Bonnie Hoover Invitational hosted by James Madison University on Saturday and Sunday.
The two-day tournament, held at the par-72, 6,046-yard, Lakeview Golf Course, was won by James Madison University with an 894 (289-302-303). Individual honors went to Jayme Langford of JMU, who carded a three-over-par, 219 (70-75-74).
Junior Mary Stewart (Scottsdale, AZ) led all Scarlet Knight scorers with a 240 (79-79-82) for 54 holes to tie for 47th overall.
Freshman Ashley Fowler (Scottsdale, AZ) shot a 249 (80-81-88) to tie for 72nd, while senior Amanda Lennox (Narragansett, RI) carded a 255 (85-82-88) to tie for 79th.
Junior Noel Picca (Irving, TX) finished 83rd overall with a 258 (84-85-89).
Freshman Lauren Braswell (Basking Ridge, NJ) had to withdraw from competition after two rounds. She carded an 87 and a 86 during her rounds of competition.
