Rutgers Basketball to Host Fall Hoops Festival

PISCATAWAY, NJ - Rutgers Basketball will host the Knights Hoop Festival, a clinic for boys and girls in grades second through eighth, on Thursday, November 10 and Friday, November 11 at the Rutgers Athletic Center. Rutgers head men's basketball coach Gary Waters and head women's basketball coach C. Vivian Stringer will be heading the clinic, which will run form 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. each of the two days.
Also on hand to tutor the youngsters will be members of the Scarlet Knight men's and women's basketball teams as well as a host of varsity basketball coaches from high schools throughout the state of New Jersey.
The clinic will stress fundamentals and will also include drills, lectures, motivation, academics, games and individual instruction. All participants will receive a T-Shirt, self improvement workout program, two tickets to the Rutgers vs. Old Dominion women's game on Dec. 9 and two tickets to the Dec. 17 Rutgers vs. South Carolina State men's game.
