ESPN2 to Televise Rutgers-Pitt Game Next Weekend

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - ESPN2 and the BIG EAST Conference announced Saturday evening that the Oct. 21 Rutgers-Pittsburgh game will be televised live to a national audience on ESPN2. Kickoff from Heinz Field is scheduled for 5:45 p.m.
It marks the third of five straight national television appearances for the 24th-ranked Scarlet Knights. In all, Rutgers has eight games scheduled for national television this season, a new school record.
ESPN will televise Rutgers next two home games - Sunday, Oct. 29 vs. Connecticut and Thursday, Nov. 9 vs. Louisville. The season finale at West Virginia on Saturday, Dec. 2 is also scheduled to air on ESPN.
Rutgers (6-0) is bowl-eligible for the second consecutive season after Saturday's 34-0 shutout victory at Navy.
