Rutgers Announces Student Ticket Distribution Policy for Louisville Game
Nov 02 | Football
PISCATAWAY, NJ - Due to the overwhelming demand for student tickets for Rutgers' next home football game, when the No. 15 Scarlet Knights host No. 5 Louisville on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m., the Rutgers Athletic Department will institute a special advance ticket pick-up/distribution policy.
There will be 10,500 student tickets available, and students with a valid ID card may pick up tickets at the West Gate at Rutgers Stadium on Tuesday, Nov. 7, and Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or while tickets remain. Students will be given the option of a ticket in the student section seating (sections 107 to 115), or in the temporary scoreboard end zone bleacher seating (while tickets remain). Students who choose end zone tickets will be given the choice to sit in bleacher seating, or on "The Hill" overlooking the field from the south end zone. Students may obtain one ticket per valid ID, and must be present to be given a ticket (multiple tickets will not be given to a student).
"The support shown by Rutgers students this season has been nothing short of outstanding," said Rutgers Director of Athletics Bob Mulcahy said. "We expect a record number of students to attend our game against Louisville on Nov. 9, and we're thrilled that we've been able to accommodate additional students with our seating plans in the south end zone and on 'The Hill.' This ticket policy and distribution system will help make the game-night experience better for all students who obtain a ticket.
"Our students have been instrumental in the home field advantage we've enjoyed this season at Rutgers Stadium," Mulcahy continued. "I'm sure they will continue to display the great spirit and sportsmanship we have come to be known for. We're looking forward to everyone enjoying a great night at Rutgers Stadium next Thursday."
