Rutgers Women's Tennis Recruit Signs National Letter of Intent

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's tennis team has announced the signing of Amy Zhang during the early signing period. The Texas native, ranked 63rd in this year's recruiting class by TennisRecruiting.net, will join the Scarlet Knights for the 2007-08 campaign.
Texas and the 147th slot nationally. As a junior, she won the regional tournament in addition to taking second at the district championships, and was named first team Texas All-Area. Zhang was also named the High Point Tennis Center Player of the Year in 2005 and was a Dallas Professional Tennis Association travel grant recipient.
Rutgers University has awarded her a Presidential Academic scholarship.
