Former Scarlet Knight Locke Joins Coaching Ranks

PISCATAWAY, NJ - Former Rutgers women's basketball player Courtney Locke ('06) has been named an assistant coach at Texas-San Antonio, head coach Rae Rippetoe-Blair has announced.
The 5-7 guard played in 123 games during her four-year career at RU, helping to lead the Scarlet Knights to four NCAA Tournament berths. Rutgers advanced to the 2005 Elite Eight and the 2006 Sweet Sixteen, and won the BIG EAST Conference regular-season title each of her final two years. Locke averaged 2.0 points and 1.0 assist per game during her career, starting 26 times. She graduated from Rutgers College this May with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and sport studies.
