PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers wrestling team will hold its Red & Black wrestle-off on Friday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m., at the College Ave Gym.
"This is a great opportunity for our kids to compete in front of a crowd," said first-year head coach Scott Goodale.
Results from the Red & Black wrestle-off will determine the starting lineup for this year's Rutgers squad.
"We want them to perform with some pressure," said Goodale. "The staff is looking forward to seeing how they compete in a match situation, where there is something on the line."
A highlight of the intra-squad match will be the return of senior Steve Adamcsik (Chester, N.J.), who will take to the college wrestling mat for the first time in more than a year after red-shirting last season.
