Adamcsik Ranked No. 20 in NWCA Poll

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers redshirt senior wrestler Steve Adamcsik (Chester, N.J.) is ranked No. 20 in the 141-pound weight class in the Division I Individual Wrestling Rankings. The poll, a collaborative effort by InterMat, the National Wrestling Media Association (NWMA), and the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA), ranks the top 20 wrestlers in each weight class.
After redshirting last season, Adamcsik returned to the mat last weekend in the Oklahoma-Brockport Gold Tournament held in Brockport, N.Y., reaching the finals of his weight class before falling 6-4 in the championship round.
The Rutgers wrestling team next competes in the Navy Classic in Annapolis, Md., on Saturday, November 17, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
