Rutgers Finishes Fourth in Navy Classic

ANNAPOLIS, MD. - The Rutgers wrestling program put together a team total of 86 to finish fourth out of 12 schools in the Navy Classic, held on Saturday in Annapolis, Md. Bloomsburg took first place, followed by Navy and Bucknell.
Steve Adamscik (Chester, N.J.) led the way for the Scarlet Knights, winning the championship in the 141-pound class with a 12-6 victory over Bloomsburg's George Hickman. Jack Barrett (Metuchen, N.J.) finished sixth in the 149-pound class and Chris Norell (Phillipsburg, N.J.) took fifth place in the 157-pound class.
In the 165-pound class, Matt Rigoglioso (Wayne, N.J.) finished fifth and Shawn Putnam (West Keansburg, N.J.) took sixth. Keith Dobish (Lodi, N.J.) was sixth in the 184-pound class, while Karim Mahmoud (Wallington, N.J.) and Lamar Brown (Red Bank, N.J.) finished third and fourth, respectively, in the 197-pound class.
Rutgers next competes against Ohio State in Columbus, Ohio, on Monday, Nov. 26, at 7:00 p.m. RESULTS
