PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers women's golfer Lauren Braswell (Basking Ridge, N.J.) was featured April 5 on an ABC World News segment with Charles Gibson. The piece focused on Tigers Woods and his effect on minority participation in golf.
The senior-co captain shot her career-low rounds of 76-78 at the "Shootout at the Legends" tournament in October 2005. She shot a 156 to tie for fourth place overall at the 2006 Bucknell Fall Classic Sept. 30 and October 1, and took sixth place at the Dartmouth Invitational Sept. 16-17.
The New Jersey native has been named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star every year at Rutgers.
