PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's tennis completed a BIG EAST weekend sweep with a 5-2 victory over Pittsburgh Sunday afternoon at the RU Tennis Complex. The Scarlet Knights, who have won two straight and three of their last five, improve to 10-6 overall and 4-2 in league play.
"We played well on our home court today against a very well coached Pitt team," head coach Ben Bucca said. "Pitt had a lot of momentum coming into the match and this was a strong win. This gives us a lot of confidence as we continue with our BIG EAST schedule."
