Rutgers Falls to Princeton, 5-2

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's tennis team picked up singles victories from junior Polina Zaretser (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and freshman Amy Zhang (Plano, Texas), but the Scarlet Knights fell, 5-2, to Princeton at the RU Tennis Complex.
Rutgers falls to 7-4 on the year, while the Tigers improved to 6-5 overall.
Zaretser picked up a 6-3, 7-6 (3) victory at No. 2 singles, while Zhang won at the No. 3 spot 6-1, 6-2. Zaretser improves to 7-1 in singles action on the season and Zhang bumps her mark to 9-2, leading the team in wins.
The Scarlet Knights will next be in action on March 16, when they make a trip down to Ft. Lauderdale Fla. to take on Broward Community College.
