Rutgers Wrestling to Host Golf Outing on Friday, Aug. 1

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers wrestling team will host a golf outing at the RU Golf Course on Friday, August 1. The event will benefit the program and give fans the opportunity to meet head coach Scott Goodale and many of the wrestling letterwinners who have been a part of the program's rich history.
The event will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by lunch and awards at 1:30 p.m. Single player fees are $150 while a foursome is $600. All players fees include greens fees, cart fees, lunch receptions and a golfer gift bag. For more information contact the Scarlet R Club at (732) 932-7629.
All the proceeds will benefit the Rutgers wrestling program. In 2007-08, Goodale's first year as head coach, the team finished 11-7, with Lamar Brown (Red Bank, N.J.) and Steve Adamcsik (Chester, N.J.) reaching the NCAA Wrestling Championship.
