RAC To Hold NCAA Women's Basketball Open Practices Friday

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Louis Brown Athletic Center, also known as the RAC, will officially welcome Auburn, Lehigh, VCU and the host Scarlet Knights to the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship First/Second Round Piscataway site Friday as each team will take part in open practices inside the arena.
All four practices are open to the public and fans are encouraged to check out their team as they go through final preparations for their tournament opening-round game Saturday. No. 2 seed Auburn will face No. 15 seed Lehigh in the first game at noon Saturday, followed 30 minutes later by No. 7 seed Rutgers against No. 10 seed Virginia Commonwealth. The two advancing teams will square off in the second round Monday at 7:00 p.m.

Friday's Open Practice Schedule
Auburn 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Lehigh 1:05 p.m. - 2:05 p.m.
Rutgers 2:10 p.m. - 3:10 p.m.
VCU 3:15 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Tickets for the 2009 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship First/Second Round Games at the Louis Brown Athletic Center are on sale. The Rutgers Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has three ticket packages available for the event. An Adult All-Session package allows access to all three games of the tournament for $40.00, while a Student All-Session package is available to anyone 18 years of age or younger and college students for $15.00. A "Family Four Pack" that includes four tickets to the first round doubleheader Session I on March 21 and four hot dogs and four sodas is available for $60.00. Parking for each session will be $8.00.
