Scarlet Knights Take 12th at FMBI

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Rutgers men's golf team shot a second-day 299 to finish at 604 for the tournament, rallying to a 12th-place finish at the First Market Bank Intercollegiate Invitational. The Scarlet Knights entered today's second round in 14th place. Liberty won the 22-team event, played at Kingsmill Resort (par 71, 6,831 yards), holding off Campbell University by four strokes, 574-578.
Junior J.F. Sorbella (Port Chester, N.Y.) paced the Rutgers contingent, shooting a 73 today to finish at 149 for the tournament, earning a tie for 28th place. Junior James Arbes (Westfield, N.J.) tied for 46th, compiling a 152 (76-76). Senior Isaac Lim (Piscataway, N.J.) carded a 154 (79-75) to tie for 61st, with juniors James Hilaire (Fishkill, N.Y.) (81-75) and Jordan Gibbs (Princeton, N.J.) (74-82) each scoring 156 to finish tied for 78th place and round out the RU scorecard.
The Scarlet Knights will be back in action this weekend when they compete in the Towson Lacrosse Homes Invitational in Towson. RESULTS
