LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Rutgers women's golf team finished seventh with a 967 total (326-316-325) at the Bison Classic, played Saturday and Sunday at the Bucknell Golf Club. Freshman Brittany Weddell (Buzzards Bay, Mass.), competing in her first collegiate event, carded a 239 (80-76-83) to place tied for 17th in the 63-player field.
Weddell had four birdies and was plus-two in par five scoring to pace the Scarlet Knights at the 12-team event.
Sophomore Kristina Lee (Haddonfield, N.J.) also performed well on the par 70, 5,983-yard course, shooting a 243 (83-79-81) to finish tied for 26th.
