PISCATAWAY, N.J. (November 9, 2010) - Rutgers junior defensive tackle Eric LeGrand (Avenel, N.J.) has been transferred back to Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, one of the nation's leaders in spinal cord rehabilitation, in West Orange, N.J. The LeGrand family requests that the media respect their privacy at this time as he transitions to this next phase of care and treatment.
LeGrand originally arrived at the Kessler Institute on Nov. 3, but was admitted into Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J. on Nov. 4 due to a high fever. He returned to Kessler yesterday afternoon to begin the next step of his rehabilitation process.
