"R Football" to Makes its Debut in 2010

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (August 26, 2010) – “R Football”, a new 30-minute show that captures many of the key focal points of the Rutgers Football program – family, integrity, honor and winning the right way, makes its debut this fall to several regional cable networks across the “State of Rutgers”. “R Football” will profile at least one player each week back in their respective hometown as viewers gain insight into the Scarlet Knights. In addition, the show profiles all aspects of the program as viewers gain a new experience into the Rutgers Football Family.
The show will feature comments from head coach Greg Schiano, current NFL Scarlet Knights and all of your favorite players in the program.
“R Football” will air in stunning HD on SNY, The Comcast Network in Philadelphia/South Jersey, MASN and Sun Sports in 2010.
The show makes its season debut Thursday, Sept. 9 on Sun Sports in Florida. The show debuts on SNY Friday, Sept. 10 at 4:30 p.m.
The Comcast Network will air the show each week throughout the season on Friday nights at 10 p.m. while MASN will air the show Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. throughout the 2010 season.
