It was Wildcard Weekend in the NFL as four former Scarlet Knights were in action.
Saturday evening, Jamaal Westerman and the New York Jets got the best of Gary Brackett and Eric Foster of the Indianapolis Colts, 17-16. Westerman was credited with two tackles in the victory for the Jets.
Brackett totaled seven tackles while Foster had three tackles for the Colts.
This week, Westerman gets the opportunity to play another former RU teammate when the Jets visit the New England Patriots and first-round pick and Pro Bowl CB Devin McCourty.
Behind 99 yards of total offense by running back Ray Rice, the Baltimore Ravens cruised to a 30-7 victory in Kansas City vs. the host Chiefs. Rice caught a nine-yard touchdown pass just before halftime to give the Ravens the lead for good at 10-7.
