
2011 Rutgers Football Season Tickets Now On Sale

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (March 1, 2011) -Rutgers football season tickets for 2011 will go on sale Wednesday, March 2 at 12:01 a.m. online at ScarletKnights.com. Current season ticket holders can renew their tickets from March 2 until April 15.
The 2011 home schedule features seven opponents, including BIG EAST members Pittsburgh, West Virginia, USF and Cincinnati.
To order season tickets, visit ScarletKnights.com or call 1-866-445-GoRU. Tickets are also available in-person Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Rutgers Ticket Office, located at the Louis Brown Athletic Center.
Four price levels are available for 2011 season tickets - sideline ($350), end zone ($280), upper corner for $220 (Sections 217, 218, 229, 230) and a Young Alumni season ticket for graduates from Rutgers within the past five years. The Young Alumni season tickets are available for $199.
Rutgers faculty and staff may purchase season tickets on the sideline for $280.
Season ticket holders also have the first opportunity to purchase additional single-game tickets at the promotional single-game ticket rate.
The 2011 season opens Thursday, September 1 versus North Carolina Central at 7:30 p.m.
Knight Kushion seating cushions are also available for $45 for the season. This optional seating purchase will be affixed to your seat for the entire season. Knight Kushions clearly define your seating area and provide seating comfort never before seen at Rutgers Stadium.
The best way to renew your season tickets is online and can save you up to $15 in processing fees!
As if saving money and convenience weren't enough reasons to renew online, here's a little more incentive. If you renew your season tickets online, you will be entered into a drawing for:
- GRAND PRIZE:Road trip for two to travel to the UConn game (includes transportation, hotel and game tickets)
- 1st Prize:Four seats to a home game in the Audi Rutgers Club and pre-game sideline passes
- 2nd Prize:Two seats to a home game in the Audi Rutgers Club and an autographed football by Greg Schiano
- 3rd Prize: Four tickets to a home game and a Nike Prize Pack
Rutgers opens spring practice March 29 and concludes spring drills with the annual Scarlet-White spring game Saturday, April 30 at Rutgers Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. and is one of the many campus-wide activities on Rutgers Day. Admission to the Scarlet-White game is free.
