
Logan Ryan Named All-American by Pro Football Weekly

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Dec. 12, 2012) - Rutgers junior cornerback Logan Ryan (Berlin, N.J.) has been named to Pro Football Weekly's 2012 All-America First Team, it was announced by the publication on Wednesday. A two-year starter at cornerback, he currently ranks second on the team with 87 tackles. A Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist, Ryan is the only player in the nation with at least 85 tackles, four interceptions and 18 passes defended.
Ryan currently ranks first in the conference and tied for eighth nationally in passes defended, averaging 1.50 per game. He also earned All-BIG EAST First Team recognition, as well as all-conference honors from ESPN.com and CBSSports.com.
Pro Football Weekly's 2012 All-America Team was chosen by draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki.
