Date Change: Rutgers to Open 2014 Football Season in Seattle

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (October 1, 2013) - Rutgers will open the 2014 college football season at Washington State on Thursday, August 28 in Seattle. The game was originally scheduled for Friday, August 29.
The two schools have never met on the football field and Rutgers is 0-4 all-time versus Pac-12 competition. The Scarlet Knights also have an upcoming home-and-home series with Pac-12 member UCLA in 2016 and 2017.
Washington State returns to Piscataway Saturday, September 12, 2015 at High Point Solutions Stadium.
