PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The 16th annual "A Walk to Believe" with Eric LeGrand is set for Saturday, Sept. 26 ahead of Rutgers football's matchup against Howard at SHI Stadium. The game is presented by GGL Law Firm.
Taking place at The Rutgers Boardwalk, presented by VisitNJ, LeGrand will lead the pregame parade to celebrate the event. Registration is open for $52 ($25 for season ticket holders and students), including a t-shirt, ticket to the game versus Howard, invitation to walk in the pregame parade with LeGrand and access to an exclusive pregame tailgate.
LeGrand, a member of the Rutgers Athletics Hall of Fame, is one of the most recognizable names and faces to ever attend Rutgers University and play for the Scarlet Knights. A source of inspiration, hope and perseverance for people around the world, his No. 52 is the only retired number in Rutgers football history. He was recently inducted into the Rutgers Hall of Distinguished Alumni in April.
LeGrand launched Team LeGrand, a fundraising arm of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, to help individuals living with spinal cord injury and their families by supporting quality of life initiatives and emerging therapies that will get us to the end zone — cures for spinal cord injuries. To donate, please visit the Reeve Foundation. The 2025 edition saw over 1,000 participants at The Rutgers Boardwalk and raised $90k.
