Kahleah Copper Named to Barclay's Invitational All-Tournament Team

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (November 30, 2013) - Sophomore forward Kahleah Copper (Philadelphia, Pa.) was named to the Barclay's Women's Basketball Invitational All-Tournament Team.
Copper helped Rutgers to a 1-1 record at the Thanksgiving weekend tournament averaging 15.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per game.
In RU's 69-65 loss to No. 15/17 LSU on Friday afternoon, Copper went 8-of-11 from the field for 16 points along with eight rebounds. She followed with a 14-point, nine-rebound effort in the Scarlet Knights' 61-52 victory over Texas Tech. Copper also registered a career-high four steals against the Lady Raiders.
The Rutgers women's basketball team returns to action on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Davidson. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
