Rutgers - SMU Set for National Broadcast on ESPNNews

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (September 23, 2013) – The American Athletic Conference announced Monday the kickoff time and television network for the Rutgers-SMU game on Saturday, October 5. Kickoff is set for noon (ET) with live national television coverage on ESPNNews.
The RU-SMU telecast will be the first American Athletic Conference football game telecast on ESPNews.
The October 5 game is the first meeting between the two schools. It will be Rutgers’ first game in the state of Texas since the 37-10 victory over Kansas State in the 2006 Texas Bowl.
