IOWA CITY, IA - Rutgers will run in its first Big Ten Women's Cross Country Championship on Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Ashton Cross Country Course in Iowa City, Iowa with all 14 Big Ten teams participating in the 6,000-meter (6K) race beginning at 11:45 p.m.
Rutgers is back to racing for the first time since capturing the 2014 Metropolitan Championship title on Oct. 10 with RU's Paige Senatore (Delsea, N.J.) not only capturing the individual title, but the Scarlet Knights taking five of the top 10 spots and eight Scarlet Knights placing among the top 20.
Senatore became the 10th Scarlet Knight to take first at the championships since 1993 and first since fellow teammate and current senior Brianna Deming (Webster, N.Y.) crossed the finish line in first back in 2011.
