The senior forward led RU in scoring last Tuesday night at Wagner with 22 points, leading the Scarlet Knights in scoring after Tyler Scaife served as Rutgers' leading scorer in the first three games of the season. She was two points shy of her career-high in scoring. Laney has registered 24 points twice in her career, most recently in RU's win against Temple on Jan. 25, 2014.
The Clayton, Delaware native captured 15 double-doubles last season, the most double figure scoring and rebounding games since Kia Vaughn, currently with the WNBA's Washington Mystics, had 12 double-doubles during the 2006-07 season.

? The 2014 WNIT Champions are off to a 6-0 start as they end a three-game homestand against #6/6 North Carolina in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Tar Heels are the first top 25 opponent for the Scarlet Knights this season.
? RU currently owns the nation's longest win streak having won 12 games dating back to last season's WNIT Championship run. Most recently, the Scarlet Knights downed Davidson, 100-44, on Sunday afternoon. It was the first time Rutgers achieved the 100-point mark under head coach C. Vivian Stringer and first time since 1995 the feat was accomplished.

The #6/6 Tar Heels enter the RAC at 7-0 coming off three wins at the Rainbow Wahine Showdown over the Thanksgiving holiday over then-No. 5 Stanford, Prairie View A&M and Hawaii.
Ashlia Gray, who was named to the Rainbow Wahine All-Tournament Team, leads UNC at 16.6 points per game along with 7.3 rebounds per contest. Xylina McDaniel is averaging 12.0 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, while Stephanie Mavunga is pouring in 10.7 points along with a team-leading 9.0 boards per contest.

This will be the first ever meeting between Rutgers and UNC.

HALL OF FAME SIDELINE
Thursday's meeting matches the two winningest coaches in the game. Rutgers head coach C. Vivian Stringer - who owns a 935-341 overall record - and Sylvia Hatchell - who holds a 942-331 career mark.

The Scarlet Knights managed to do one thing no C. Vivian Stringer led Rutgers team has managed to do in her 20 years "On The Banks" - On Nov. 30 against Davidson , RU scored 100 points in a game.
RU defeated Davidson 100-44 on Nov. 30, marking the Scarlet Knights first 100-point game since a 100-71 victory over West Virginia back on Jan. 4, 1995, the year prior to Coach Stringers arrival on the Banks of the Raritan.

Rutgers continues to dominate the paint just like they did last season.
RU is averaging 39.7 points in the paint through its first five games of 2014-15, which included a season-high 50 in last Tuesday's win at Wagner. It was the Scarlet Knights highest total inside since netting 52 paint points in last year's win over the Seahawks on Dec. 13, 2013, as well as against UCF on Feb. 15, 2014.

In the season opener, RU committed just 11 turnovers while the Hawks had 21 miscues leading to 24 points for Rutgers.
