Rowing Welcomes URI for Second Race on Raritan River

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (April 11, 2014) - The Rutgers rowing team continues its season on Saturday, April 11, when the squad welcomes URI to New Brunswick, N.J., for the Scarlet Knights' second race on the Raritan River this season.
Competition is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m.
RU most recently competed against MIT last weekend on the Charles River in Cambridge, Mass., picking up wins in the Third Varsity/ First Novice 8 and Varsity 4 pieces.
The Scarlet Knights' First Varsity 8 crew will look to better its season-best time of 7:20.9 tomorrow against the Rams, who visit New Brunswick for the first time since the 2005-06 season.
