CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (April 5, 2014) - Amid windy and choppy racing conditions, the Rutgers women's rowing team fell against Dartmouth and Minnesota in four races Saturday morning on the Charles River. The Scarlet Knights finished third against Minnesota and Dartmouth in the First Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8 and First Varsity 4 pieces, while the team's First Novice 8 fell in a one-on-one race against the Golden Gophers.
The Scarlet Knights faced their second consecutive future Big Ten Conference foe to start the season after hosting Michigan State last weekend on the Raritan River. RU continues its stay in the Boston-area and will take on MIT tomorrow morning on the Charles River.
