
Rutgers Rowing Splits With MIT

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (April 7, 2014) - The Rutgers rowing team won two of four races against MIT on Sunday, April 6 on the Charles River, picking up wins in the Varsity Four and Third Varsity/First Novice 8 pieces.
The Scarlet Knights were edged by less than three seconds in the First and Second Varsity 8 races against MIT before responding to win the final two 2,000 meter competitions by a significant margin.
Rutgers returns to the water on Saturday, April 12, when the squad welcomes URI to New Brunswick, N.J. to race on the Raritan River.
