
Two Additional Football Kickoff Times Announced

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (May 13, 2014) – Two additional football kickoff times for Rutgers’ inaugural season in the Big Ten in 2014 were announced by the Big Ten and its television partners. Rutgers’ first visit to Ohio State (October 18) begins at 3:30 p.m. with live television coverage on either ABC, BTN or ESPN/ESPN2.
Rutgers’ 2014 Homecoming game against Wisconsin (November 1) will kickoff at noon with live television coverage on ABC or BTN or ESPN/ESPN2.
Television network designations will be determined either 12 days or six days before the game. The remaining games without kickoff times and television designations will also fall under the 12-day or six-day windows.
Rutgers makes its Big Ten debut on the gridiron under the lights as the Scarlet Knights host Penn State in primetime on Big Ten Network. Kickoff for the Sept. 13 matchup is set for 8 p.m. from High Point Solutions Stadium in Piscataway.
Rutgers’ second Big Ten game will also be in primetime on BTN on October 4 when Michigan makes its first visit to High Point Solutions Stadium. Kickoff against the Wolverines is set for 7 p.m.
The Scarlet Knights begin the 2014 season in Seattle against Washington State at the home field of the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks, CenturyLink Field.
