HOLMDEL, N.J. (September 20, 2014) - The Rutgers men's and women's cross country teams were in action on Saturday at the 20th running of the Monmouth Cross Country Invitational at Holmdel Park.
The Rutgers men's cross country team placed eighth overall. The Scarlet Knights were led by junior Jaimin Vekaria (Clinton, N.J.) who finished in 42nd in a time of 27:53.9.
The Rutgers women's cross country team will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa., while the Rutgers men's cross country team will be back in action on Friday, Oct. 10 at the Metropolitan Championships at Van Cortland Park.
