Kahleah Copper Named Preseason All-Big Ten

2015-16 Preseason All-Big Ten Team
CHICAGO, Ill. - Senior forward Kahleah Copper (Philadelphia, Pa.) was named a Preseason All-Big Ten selection by both the media and coaches, it was announced on Wednesday on the eve of the conference's basketball media day.
Copper was a Second Team All-Big Ten honoree by both the coaches and media last season. She led the Scarlet Knights in scoring for the second consecutive season averaging 16.3 points per game, ranking seventh in the Big Ten in scoring. Copper posted 11 20-plus point scoring performances and reached double-figure scoring in all but four contests a year ago. Over the final five games of the regular season, Copper poured in an average of 20.8 points per contest.
Copper's All-Big Preseason honors adds to an already long list of accolades earned by the senior forward throughout her career. As a freshman, she was named to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team, while as a sophomore she was named the WNIT's Most Valuable Player and selected First Team All-American Athletic Conference.
