BOSTON, Mass. - Senior Gabrielle Farquharson's (Williamstown, N.J.) quest for national titles in the long jump and 200m at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships will take place on Friday, March 13 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Trials in the women's long jump begin at 6:00 p.m. while the 200m semifinals get underway at 8:05 p.m.
ESPN3 will stream the meet live on March 13 and 14 starting at 7 p.m. A tape delay of the championship will air on March 23 at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
The Big Ten Champion in the 200m, Farquharson reset the Rutgers indoor record three times over the course of the 2015 indoor season. She won the conference crown in a time of 23.50.
In the long jump, Farquharson missed out on the Big Ten title by just .01m, but leapt to a personal-best distance of 6.36m (20' 10 ½") on her final attempt to land in second place. She currently ranks 11th nationally in the event.
This will be Farquharson's second NCAA appearance having run with the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 2013 earning Second Team All-America and Honorable Mention All-America respectively.
