Golf Wraps Spring Break at Bearcat Classic

Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. (March 22, 2015) - Rutgers women's golf finished 13th with a 958 (319-329-310) in a 17-team field at the Bearcat Spring Classic on the Los Colinas Course in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. Junior Christina Paulsen led the Scarlet Knights with a 235 (77-82-76) to place in a tie for 28th.
Freshman Emily Mills added to the RU scoring total with a 238 (80-82-76) to finish in a tie for 40th. Racquel Zurick carded a 241 (82-83-76) and Jackie Mullens posted a 244 (80-82-82) to round out the scorecard for the Scarlet Knights. The pair finished tied for 54th and tied for 63rd, respectively. Tatum Jackson took 80th with a 253 (82-85-86) to finish 80th.
Memphis won the three-day Bearcat Spring Classic with an 892 (298-304-290). Jacksonville finished runner-up with a 917 (316-300-301) and Seminole State placed third with a 923 (312-307-304). Danielle Lemek of Bradley was the individual winner with a 219.
The Scarlet Knights will return to action at the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate in Williamsburg, Va. on Saturday, March 30.
