Rutgers Women's Golf Finishes Fifth At Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate
Williamsburg, Va. -- Rutgers women's golf finished fifth with a 956 (326-313-317) at the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate on the Plantation Course at Kingsmill on Tuesday, March 31. The Scarlet Knights competed in a 16-team field and were led by junior Racquel Zurick who finished tied for 10th with a 230 (79-73-78).
Zurick turned in the best round of the weekend for RU, shooting a 73 on day two of competition.
Junior Christina Paulsen tied for 29th with a 239 (81-82-76), followed by freshman Emily Mills who took 31st with a 240 (80-79-81). Freshman Tatum Jackson tied for 53rd with a 250 (86-82-82), while Jacquelyn Mullens rounded out the Rutgers scorecard with a 254 (92-79-83).
Eastern Michigan won the invitational with a 917, followed by second-place Delaware (918) and host William & Mary in third with a 921.
Rutgers will return to action on Thursday, April 2 for the Seton Hall Pirate Invitational in Bedminster, N.J.
