BOSTON, Mass. - Kaprice James (Roselle, N.J.) and Bria Saunders (Parsippany, N.J.) earned All-East honors in the 60m hurdles and 200m respectively at the ECAC Championships this weekend.
James took sixth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.74. During the preliminaries, James set a new PR of 8.68 to advance to finals racing.
Saunders also captured a PR in preliminary racing before advancing to the 200m finals. Saunders registered a new top time of 24.40 before taking seventh in the finals with a time of 24.46.
The Rutgers women's track and field team now gears up for the outdoor season beginning with the Bulls Invitational at USF on March 20.
