PRAGUE, Czech Republic - Former Scarlet Knight Kia Vaughn was named the EuroLeague Final Four MVP after helping her ZVVK USK Prague team to a 72-68 victory over UMMC Ekaterinburg in the FIBA EuroLeague Women's final.
Vaughn posted her second double-double of the tournament with 18 points and 12 rebounds in helping ZVVK USK Prague to its first ever EuroLeague Women title. Among Vaughn's teammates were San Antonio Stars guard Danielle Robinson, while the opposition featured Los Angeles Sparks forward Candace Parker and guards Kristi Toliver and Sandrine Gruda.
Vaughn averaged 12.5 points and 8.7 rebounds in her 15 games with ZVVK USK Prague, ranking sixth in double-doubles (5), eighth in the rebounding (8.7) and ninth in goals made (5.5).

Vaughn begins her seventh season in the WNBA and third season as a member of the Washington Mystics this summer. During the 2014 campaign, she averaged 9.0 points per game and was second on the team in rebounding with 6.3 per game.
Vaughn was selected by the Liberty in the first round (eighth overall) of the 2009 WNBA Draft. In 2011, in addition to starting every contest, she set career highs in every category (including 10.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game) on her way to being named the league's Most Improved Player. She also helped the Liberty to four postseason appearances (2009-2012).
