Anning to Compete at NCAA Regional

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Freshman Stacey Anning (Ridgefield Park, N.J.) will compete in the javelin at the NCAA East Regional hosted by the University of North Florida. The javelin competition gets underway at noon on Thursday, May 28.
Anning kicked off her Rutgers career with a title at the Bulls Invitational and the following weekend picked up her best throw of the season at 45.89m (150' 7") at the Raleigh Relays. More recently, the freshman Scarlet Knight placed 13th at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships.
