Carson, a 2008 first round draft pick and 2011 WNBA All-Star, is currently in her eighth season on the Liberty roster. The three-time BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year, Carson scored 1,262 career points as she helped the Scarlet Knights to a 109-28 record from 2004-2008 and an appearance in the 2007 NCAA National Championship game.
Prince a two-time WNBA All-Star (2011, 2013) and fourth overall pick of the 2010 WNBA draft, Prince ended her career ranked ninth "On The Banks" in scoring with 1,552 points playing from 2006-2009. She also helped guide RU to the 2007 NCAA National Championship game.
LeGrand has become a national icon and inspirational figure in the time since he was paralyzed from the neck down in a 2010 Rutgers football game vs. Army in Giants Stadium, using his upbeat personality and constant smile to reach out to others. LeGrand has set a goal of walking once again -- inspiring many along the way. He regularly speaks to organizations about overcoming obstacles and was presented the Arthur Ashe Courage and Humanitarian Award at the ESPYs in 2012. His foundation helps to create awareness and to raise funds for the people suffering from spinal cord injury, as well as research and treatment of spinal cord injuries.
