Promotions Set For 2015 MSOC Season

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- The promotional calendar for the 2015 Rutgers men's soccer season is now available.
Rutgers' Big Ten opener with Wisconsin on Friday, Sept. 11 will mark Military Appreciation Night with free admission to members of our nation's armed forces with military ID. Additionally the first 250 fans through the gates will receive a USA block R magnet. The contest with the Badgers will also be Alumni Appreciation Night with former Scarlet Knight soccer greats welcomed back to campus and recognized at halftime.
Fans attending the Friday, Sept. 25 matchup with Michigan State will take home a Rutgers soccer t-shirt, while those with a ticket stub from the Rutgers football homecoming contest with Kansas can receive free admission to the Tuesday, Sept. 29 game with Loyola (Md.).
Rutgers soccer rubber bracelets will be given away to the first 100 fans when RU kicks off against Penn State on Saturday, Oct. 3 and the first 200 fans will receive a mini soccer ball when the Scarlet Knights host Yale on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Camper, Junior Knights and Senior Day are slated for Sunday, Oct. 25 as Rutgers takes on Ohio State in front of the BTN cameras. Arrive early as the first 200 fans at the stadium will get a Rutgers soccer scarf.
As the home schedule comes to a close on Saturday, Oct. 31 against Nebraska-Omaha, fans can enter the Halloween contest to vie for best costume for a prize.
Additionally, all season long, fans can drop by the ticket table at the Yurcak Field entrance to enter their names for giveaways throughout the season. Prizes include a signed soccer ball by the 2015 Scarlet Knight soccer team and tickets to the Rutgers football game with Maryland.
Youth soccer teams (ages 5-12) are also invited to watch the Rutgers men's soccer team and have an opportunity to play a halftime scrimmage at Yurcak Field. Alumni can also gain field access for all eight homes games with a purchase of a season ticket by contacting the Rutgers Ticket Office at 732-907-1574.
