- Rutgers totaled 402 yards to top 400 for the third consecutive game and fourth time in the last five.
- Rutgers picked up a successful two-point conversion for the first time since 2013 at Fresno State.
- The defense had 11 pass break-ups, reaching double-digits for the first time since having 10 at SMU in 2013.
- The offense allowed one sack and has relinquished just three over the last six games dating back to last year.

WR Janarion Grant
- Set a school record with 337 all-purpose yards (195 kickoff return, 56 punt return, 65 receiving, 21 rushing). The record was previously held by Terrell Willis with 326 versus Temple in 1994.
- Grant's previous high for all-purpose yards in a game was 317 at Maryland in 2014.
- Returned both a kickoff and a punt for a touchdown, the first Rutgers player to do both in the same game in the modern era.
- Now has three career kickoff return touchdowns and two this season. The 100-yard return matched his career-long mark also set in 2013 at Fresno State.
- Owns five career kick returns of at least 70 yards.
- Totaled a career-best 195 kickoff return yards to bring career total to 1,739, third-most in school history.
- Now has two punt returns for a touchdown, with the other being 58 yards versus Arkansas in 2013.

PK Kyle Federico
- Converted two field goals to reach 36 in his career, tied for fifth-most in school history.
- The 48-yard field goal in the second quarter tied his second longest made in college. He converted from that distance in 2013 at Fresno State. His career-long is 52 yards at USF in 2012.
LB Steve Longa
- Totaled 14 tackles to match his career best also set in 2013 at SMU.
- The 12 solo tackles marked a career high.
- Has led or tied for the team lead in tackles in 19-of-28 career games.
- Owns 10 games with at least 10 tackles.
WR Leonte Carroo
- Caught a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter to raise his team-leading point total to 20 this season.
- Has a catch in 22 consecutive games.
P Joey Roth
- Had a career-long 54 yard punt and averaged 49 yards on three attempts.
QB Chris Laviano
- Made first career start and had career highs with 23 completions, 29 attempts and 204 yards.
