TEAM NOTES
• Today marked the first meeting between Rutgers and Kansas.
• Rutgers improved to 52-28-2 in its Homecoming game.
• Rutgers recorded a season-high 31 first downs, with 15 through the pass and 13 in the air. For the season, the offense has 49 rushing and 47 passing first downs.
• The offense topped 500 total yards for the second time this season with 513 versus Kansas. The team now has at least 400 yards in three of the four games in 2015. The last time it reached 500 was versus Norfolk State (539).
• The 312 rushing yards were the most by Rutgers this season. The last time the offense reached 300 yards on the ground was in the 2014 Quick Lane Bowl (340).
Josh Hicks (113) and Robert Martin (102) each surpassed 100 yards rushing. They also did that in the 2014 Quick Lane Bowl.
• Rutgers ran 83 plays compared to Kansas' 61, holding possession for 37:59 of the game.
• The offense allowed no sacks and has permitted one or less in three of the four games this year.
• The defense held Kansas to 0-for-3 on fourth down and is now holding opponents to 1-for-9 on fourth down this season.
• Rutgers picked up three sacks and 10 quarterback hurries. It was the first time reaching double-digit hurries since 2012 versus Howard (11).
• The defense permitted just one first down by rushing to Kansas.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
QB Chris Laviano
• Completed passes to nine different receivers after totaling 10 the past two games.
• Completed 18 passes and is now 72-of-100 on the season for a 72 percent completion mark.
• Had a season-high 44 yards rushing on eight attempts.

RB Josh Hicks
• Ran for a game-high 113 yards rushing and two touchdowns.
• Has two multiple-touchdown games this season.
• Now owns four career games with at least 100 yards rushing.

RB Robert Martin
• Ran for 102 yards on the ground to reach 100 for the first time this year and second in his career.

WR Andre Patton
• Had season highs with five receptions and 53 yards to lead the team.

WR Carlton Agudosi
• Recorded first career touchdown in the first quarter.

LB Steve Longa
• Collected a team-high 11 tackles with 10 solo stops.
• Has led or tied the team lead in tackles in 21-of-30 career games.
• Owns 10 career games with at least 10 stops.

LB Kaiwan Lewis
• Collected an interception in the first half for his third career and first at Rutgers.

DB Kiy Hester
• Picked up a career-high nine tackles with one for a loss, adding two pass break-ups.
