Women's Golf Set to Compete at Rehoboth Beach

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Women's golf heads to the First State to compete in the Lady Blue Hen Invitational at the Rehoboth Beach Country Club. The tournament begins on Saturday with 36 holes and concludes with one additional round on Sunday.
Ten teams comprise the field on the par 71, 6,003-yard course. In addition to host Delaware and the Scarlet Knights, Dartmouth, Delaware State, Harvard, High Point, La Salle, Penn, Seton Hall and Towson will compete. It mark's RU's first time participating in the annual event.
Harvard won the 2015 Lady Blue Hen Invitational with a 903 (305-302-296) score.
The Scarlet Knights are coming off a great showing overseas in County Kerry, Ireland where they combined for 22.5 points to defeat Richmond (18.5) and College Cork (3) in match play. Freshman Carrie-Ann Lee won 1-up over Richmond and 2&1 over Cork earning victories in all four of her matches. Juniors Emily Mills and Tatum Jackson and sophomore Astrid Aneman each contributed three wins to help Rutgers receive NCAA and international victories.
This weekend's travel party consists of Aneman, freshman Ana Cortes, Redshirt sophomore Ashleigh Greenham, Jackson, Lee and Mills
Tee times begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday. Live scoring will be available via Golfstat.
