PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The Big Ten Conference recognized 62 Scarlet Knights on the Fall 2016 Academic All-Big Ten list, it was announced Wednesday. Seven different Rutgers programs are represented on the list with 17 from football, 12 from field hockey, 11 on men’s soccer, eight on women’s soccer, seven from volleyball, four men’s cross country and three on women’s cross country.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
