
Four WBB Scarlet Knights Named Academic All-B1G

ROSEMONT, Ill. - Four members of the Rutgers women's basketball team were among the 32 Scarlet Knights recognized by the Big Ten Conference on Wednesday by earning Winter 2016 Academic All-Big Ten honors.
Senior Kahleah Copper (Philadelphia, Pa.) was named Academic All-Big Ten for the second consecutive season, while senior walk-on Alana Ferruggiaro (Maplewood, N.J.) along with sophomores Ashli Jeune (Westhampton, N.J.) and Shrita Parker (Va. Beach, Va.) earned their first conference academic honors in their first year of eligibility for the award.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
